What does the North Dorset Trailway mean to you?

This autumn, we’re celebrating everything that makes the North Dorset Trailway such a special place – and we’d love to see it through your eyes!

Whether it’s beautiful scenery, wildlife, autumn colours, flowers and nature, or simply people enjoying the Trailway, send us a photograph that captures what the Trailway means to you.

It might be a favourite walk, a peaceful moment, a family outing, a dog enjoying an adventure, a cycle ride, horse ride or wheelchair outing – or perhaps an unexpected view or wildlife encounter.

Who can enter?

There are three age categories:

• Under 12s
• 12–15s
• Adults

There will be a separate prize for the winner of each category, kindly supported by Wessex Photo and the Crown Inn, Marnhull.

How to enter

Email your photograph to [email protected] or add it in the comments beneath our competition post on the North Dorset Trailway Network Facebook page.

Please include:

• Your name
• Your age category
• Where the photograph was taken
• A short description of the photograph

Entrants under 16 must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Closing date

Entries must be received by 1 November 2026.

The competition is open to amateur photographers only. By entering, you confirm that the photograph is your own work and give the North Dorset Trailway Network permission to use it on our website, social media and publicity materials, with an appropriate credit.
