Walking on the North Dorset Trailway

Whether it’s a short walk with the dog, a leisurely family stroll, or a challenging long-distance hike, the North Dorset Trailway is the perfect place to stretch your legs.

With numerous access points, the Trailway offers a firm surface, safe crossing points, and no stiles – and best of all, it’s completely free from motor traffic.

Along the way, you’ll find links to the Stour Valley Way, the Wessex Ridgeway, the Jubilee Trail, and Hod and Hambledon Hills. Open access land, nature reserves, and woodlands – including Piddles Wood and Blandford Forest – are also within easy reach.
