About the North Dorset Trailway Network (NDTN)
NDTN is a registered charity dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and extending the Trailway for everyone to enjoy. Following the route of the old Somerset & Dorset railway, it offers a safe and accessible path for walking, cycling, horse riding, and mobility users, while also providing a vital green corridor for wildlife.
At its heart, NDTN exists to care for and grow this special shared space – bringing people together to enjoy the outdoors, support nature, and keep the Trailway thriving for generations to come.
The NDTN works in partnership with local councils, businesses, volunteers, and conservation groups to maintain and improve the Trailway, helping to connect communities and support health, wellbeing, and biodiversity across Dorset.
